Ruapotaka's Mini Olympics

On Friday, The whole Ruapotaka school had a mini olympics, It was a very hot melting day. Our Audience was the family that were watching. I was the leader of Turkey and Mika and Texas was the flag holder for our country. All the flag holders stood up for the opening ceremony, they walked around us while the New Zealand anthem was playing. We all then went to our courses, my favourite course was the egg and spoon race, it was very intense, but we still won. When the siren went off, we all gathered up and then did the closing ceremony, all the teachers gave out their medal for the people who showed leadership. Then the best thing for last was going home and resting.

Jovi Clay Design

On Friday, Room 11 made models with jovi clay. We used our hands to make these models, these models were a bit hard to make because the Jovi clay was hard to rip apart. The models I made were a red crocodile and a snow man and as you can see in this picture I took, it is the crocodile eating the snow man, and the snow man is screaming HELP MEEEE!

Pokemon Go Banned In Iran

pokemon go
Pokemon Go, one of the most famous game and dangerous game has been banned in Iran because of security concerns. Iran is the first country to issue a ban of Pokemon Go, a game that challenges players to visit real-world place to catch cartoon creatures. This game uses a GPS on a phone and camera to put people right in the game. Also in France a player was arrested last month after straying on to a military base while trying to catch a Pokemon. Pokemon Go is a very dangerous game, my opinion is to ban Pokemon Go every where because people are ending up in hospital and in heaven.

Every morning I wake up at 7.00am and have my breakfast to fill up my energy, I then go out for a run around the block. After I finish up my go to the basketball court at the Barra Olympic Park and start shooting some hoops so I can practise for the Olympics, I mostly practised my 3 pointers and my layups. I then went to see on the leader board to see who we are go up against. When I saw the leader board, we were against the United States team and was happening at the Barra Olympic Park. Our game is starting on August the 6th.
